An absolute classic. Wonderful little machines that were as reliable as time, and seemed to run on thin air. Sometimes the old ones really are the best!

I just picked up a c70 and I’ve been ripping it all over Los Angeles! Went from Venice to the sfv no problem! Mpg is amazing, I don’t want to drive anything else around town now lol

I owned a CT70 back in 1975 and these bikes are a blast! No wonder Honda brought them back as the Super Cub125 and Trail 125!-John in Texas

Dude if you go to Vietnam you will tons of these types of scooters, but yes it is classic, and I love it.

Bought one of these that had sat for several years. New battery, gas started on the second kick. I gave it to one of my boys....too slow for me but simply utterly reliable, cheap to run.

I swapped my trans out with a 4 speed semi auto. Makes a huge difference.
@Vulturemotorcycleparts2 жыл бұрын
Thats cool, was it a trans from a CT70H or XL70 or something? I have another one that I’m doing a 125cc engine swap on. I can’t wait to finish that bike.

I have had 6 and 12 volts... The 6 volts are a tad faster.... Yours looks great!

Thanks @AcoustaDC! Interesting about the 6 volt being faster, I wonder why

@@Vulturemotorcycleparts The cylinder head is designed differently compared to later 12v models. The 6v cubs have bigger valves which made for slightly worse mileage but also provided a bit more performance
@emraef2 жыл бұрын
@@darksondap94 does anyone know if the 6v cylinder heads are compatible with 12v engines?
@darksondap942 жыл бұрын
@@emraef I think they are, but you have to combine them with a domed piston as well, or you will lose performance. Most people use them for their 72cc conversions, which also use a domed piston setup

I wish people would stop revving an engine when they first start it, especially if there's any choke. I'm not going to give you all a lecture, go learn why.
