fished for UA team 2016 semester and I was in the same boat... way too cold for my fishing strengths, on Smith and it was brutal...managed 5 for 17lbs, but that place changed my confidence in fishing deep and using finesse jigs. Good luck rest of the season! Roll Tide!!

Hilary, the cold is brutal but you have to be prepared. Know it’s will be colder out on the water. Layer up and have hot hands in your pockets. Plus standing up casting and moving will keep you warmer than sitting down not moving. Gotta stay strong and grind and it gets easier. Much luck

Pro tip. If what you’re doing is not catching fish, and your partner is doing something different, that is catching fish, stop doing what you’re doing. Start doing what your partner is doing and maybe you’ll start to catch fish. Don’t ignore what you know is working in favor of doing what hasn’t been. The chances of getting something to work in the same day that it hasn’t been working, are much lower than the chances of getting what is working to work better.
