Strawberries are my favorite fruit! Also, how Mario Party 9 is Mind Blowing... It has some of greatest mini-games in the whole series! Even compared to the older games! The mini-game soundtrack is top notch on top of that. None of the other mini-game soundtracks could top this bad boy! And, that's literally it...

I have said it many times mp9 saving grace were the mínigames (unlike 10 which everything is just mediocre) if mp8 had mp9 minigames it would've been so much better.

Shame the boards aren't as interesting because this game has like one of the best library of minigames of all the series, it gets all sorts of undeserved hate.

To be fair, in one of the high numbered (I don't mean game rating boards numbers. Such as Metacritic) Mario Party games, there's this thing where losing is winning. Instead of trying to get the best result to win, you want to get the absolute worst result to win. A similar thing was in Sonic Shuffle, a Sonic party game made by Hudsonsoft (the ones who made the first three Mario Party games), where there was this minigame where you need to get a total of numbers. It's random wherever you need to get the highest numbered score over your opponents, or the lowest score. You need to pay attention to the start of the minigame to know if you're meant to get the highest number or the lowest, the game won't tell you a second time on that minigame session. And, other players who are not directly involved with the faceoff I believe can influence the end result. I dunno, it's been a very long time since I played Sonic Shuffle, or boot up my SEGA Dreamcast at all in a very long time. I may be misremembering some details
