The fact that most people doesn't know that if you want red or ginger/orange hair, YOU DON'T NEED TO BLEACH YOUR HAIR makes me sad. You guys! bleaching your hair makes difficult for the pigment to stay in the hair, and a lot of times you can actually get the color you wanted without frying your hair. Luckilly I made some research before dying my hair

Depending on how dark your hair is or if you have dyed it before, you would have to bleach it. The orange crayon doesn't colour over the brown but the orange crayon will colour over white, yellow, lighter orange. You see what I'm saying.

if you have dark brown/black hair, yes you need to bleach it

But been a latin american and doing the research based in latin american's dark hair, you would see that it is possible to have ginger hair without bleaching it, when the hair hasn't any dye. If you still don't think that is posible you can take a look researching about "tintas clareadoras"

@@exo_comeback_please Yes! But if your hair is a natural dark color, there is a lot of chances that it won't be necessary, obviously the hair needs to go through the test process to see if the hair will be able to get lighter without bleaching, but in most cases it works ☺

@@aalexandragarcia5630 My hair actually likes bleach better than ammonia color. Ammonia color burns my scalp and leaves my hair brittle with breakage. My hair has never likes it. Bleach never burns my scalp and my hair is always soft and silky afterwards. So it just depends on the person so you really shouldn’t be giving this advice, you know nothing about how peoples reactions are to the two different chemical processes.

You can get color glosses such as Gloss Up or Overtone that deposit color without needing developer. Those types are not permanent color though, and are best for boosting color after your dye has faded a little.
