Looks great! I thought that you used the champagne problems shade from your palette for all of the sparkle. I dip into that shade and bright from your palette to finish off so many of my looks! I have to start playing more with the Get Stonned palette. I also think I should use a bit more finishing powder (I have the pink shade from lunar beauty). Because I’m in my early 50s I don’t use concealer under my eyes so I don’t get creases. Lucky I’ve never had dark circles. Anyhow, I really loved the video! As always, terrific look you created! The look is gorgeous and it suits you beautifully! The three new rephr brushes are synthetic brushes and I really are considering buying them. I tried the YSL All hours foundation for the first time earlier this week and I really liked it, I usually go for light coverage but I found my perfect shade at a 60% discount!! I enjoyed this style of your GRWM video quite a bit. I also like the “regular” tutorials, as well. I’d say if you’re going to do an eye look and wear it throughout the day then make this style of video. If you’re debuting a new palette and it’s not something you want to wear that day you can always do the other type of tutorials. Either way it’s always a pleasure to watch your techniques, learn about your favorite products and find the inspiration I need to do a nice makeup look. For instance I just received the Bare Minerals highlighter-blush in rose gold that you’ve been using so much. It is gorgeous irl and I can’t wait to use it. Thanks and enjoy your weekend!

Beautiful look, as always. I watched a Nikki LaRose video recently, and she said she doesn’t like face primer. I completely disagree with her, but maybe because I’m older. It definitely helps my foundation last longer, and I’m not into doing touchups, lol. It’s good to see how you cover up imperfections on the face - we all have them at times!

I heard her say that too and I think it’s because her clients are older. When I was in my 20s and had oily skin I needed primer but now that I’m older I don’t anymore. She does do a base with skincare and has shared what products she uses under makeup.

The voice over video style is definitely for you! You are known for your eyes so getting to hear your process for creating your stunning looks was awesome! You speak very clearly, your descriptions of how, what, where, Patrick Ta, etc 😂 is concise and very easy to follow ( even with your “jumping “ around) Actually I didn’t feel you were jumping all over because you explained your reasoning for doing so which is actually helpful. Sometimes we need to stand back and take a look after completing different areas, or products which makes you want to tweak, add or delete something. For example I cannot for the life of me do my eyes before my base. Without having my base roughly 75% done my eye makeup makes no sense to me! I have a hard time figuring out pigment depth and/ or tone. I end up too light, too dark, not being cohesive, etc, etc….but looking at my skin being smooth, bronzed & blushed …I can envision how I want my eyes to look. Anyone else struggle like this? How do you get your creativity on?! 😅💜🩷🤎🩶🖤
