If you have the time and its safe you should let the sino harvest the mantis. They get more chitin and polymer. Just stand next to it and the sino should auto harvest. I found that out by accident. I was killing mantis and spiders, I jumped off to harvest and they disappeared. Checked sinks inventory and the materials were there

When constructing with fence foundations in heavy ground clutter it may be helpful to to place a foundation then before placing the next foundation place the fence then next fence foundation and next wall, wash-rinse-repeat.

If you want high level rex go to the "highlands" area. Once in a while you'll find a lvl 300-400 rex spawn. o.0

Yeah I killed a level 440 today didn't know they spawned this high I think max level on mine is 140 was not happy.

I'm still wondering if this spawner is broken or not. 3 or 4 350+ rexes I've seen in this area. Finally tamed a 475ish once I had shocking darts and kibble..

I play on my Series X & last night I had a 485 wild rex spawn! I dropped everything & tamed it. It came out at 727! Max level should only be 150! Yup broken spawns!

I question it because I've only seen higher than max rexes, only in this area, and they should have fixed it pretty immediately

I always have dino gates pre made for a trap that can be put around anything

Is there a guide line available in game so I can put up straight fence? I was thinking maybe using the invisible electric Dino fence not sure if that's the right name lol. Turn on visibility and use it as a guide line. Does anyone else have ideas? I mean it's cool if my fence has a s curve, but im not building a race track lol.

You can trap the sino with 6 standing torches and a sign. Just wait till it comes close and put torches around him and sign with signing above him. Just turn camera so you can see when you can feet here and done.

most of the non story maps have a higher chance to spawn high levels.. also I am sure he edits out a lot of the low levels he finds during recording

You should download the gender swap mod think it would be useful to u for real cant remember what its call but it swaps the gender of ur dino

Phlinger doesn’t use mods in this series, probably because many of his viewers plays official servers which is mod free and they come here to get tips on how to improve their gameplay. He does have some stats increased like taming and so, but that’s only because he’s recording and he puts out several videos a week and he wouldn’t be able to do that without speeding some things up.
