You sounded like Algeria is hellhole or something. You so ignorant about the reality. Nowadays, Algeria is safer than many western countries let alone India. Let's hope you had a good time.

Other indian you tubers have gone there, like travel mantra, no one commented on their religion or anything scary about the country or people. People may stare because tourists are rare. Its one of the most hospitable countries out there, and so use google text and speech translate to get around. See how Garima, wandering with paint, manages around Africa in strangest places without an iota of fear .

. The situation in Algeria, thank God, is stable, secure and peaceful, and even the borders are protected, and our relations with our neighbors are very good. Only Morocco for political reasons, but the Algerian and Moroccan people are one people. As for the economy, it does not depend on fuel only, but on agriculture and various industries. This is within the framework of the state’s policy to diversify the economy. As for the Algerian people, they are a Muslim people and we are proud of our religion, customs, traditions and culture. Algeria is the largest Arab country and the largest country in the African continent. We have tremendous natural and climatic diversity, so it is called the continental country. Contrary to what foreigners believe, that Algeria is a hot country, they are wrong. Algeria is a very cold country, especially in the winter, and snow falls in more than twenty-five Algerian states out of 58 states. As for the desert, it is also cold in the winter

Thank you for so much information. I want to clarify on some information that I have gathered because of which I stated some facts in this vlog. 1.) About the borders, I agree there is no problem for Algerian side but there can be problems from the other side which is why most of the countries have issued travel advisory for Algeria stating the regions that tourists should not travel to. Anyways ignoring this, I still went to Bechar province near to Morocco border, where I had not so nice experience(vlog will come soon so that you can see). On Algerian side I will say it's safe, but there is a lot strictness. I have to go through several security checks every few kilometres whenever I was away from main tourist line(Oran-Alger-Constantine). About the economy, according to the stats, Algerian economy in constituted by Hydrocarbons(oil & gas) for more than 60% and 95% of the country's exports are hydrocarbons. And I said that fuel is cheaper in Algeria because Algeria is rich in oil and gas. That was simple and it didn't mean disrespect to anyone. And in many of my Algerian vlogs I have fully mentioned that Algerian authorities are diversifying their economy. About the religion, I have been never disrespectful to any religion. I respect every religion and in Algeria I visited so many mosque with the local people and I totally loved it.

I am not concerned neither it's my first Muslim country to visit. In fact some of my favorite countries that I visited have dominant Islam religion. I am just explaining everything that I see and experience because my viewers are curious to know how is the daily life in Algeria. Never in my videos I disrespected any religion. But after getting so much of negative comments from Algeria, I start to feel that Muslims don't want anyone to talk about their religion even if the person is saying good things about it.

@ I meant enjoy the trip, instead of concerning yourself with diferrences in a FOREIGN country; besides how it's your first muslim country, you said you're from india (there are more muslim there than in algeria) you're acting like you see them for the first time (that's the way it looks in video)

Peace brother Algeria is not unfriendly to tourists , it’s hard for tourists to come here as the visa is hard as it is hard for Algerians to get a visa to other country . Just relax and stop being paranoid , have fun no one is after you and you can film freely people look because you’re filming them lol few historic mistakes but at least you’re trying peace .

Hey bro, yes we do not want tourist! Who said you look different? I would say you're right at home anytime, you do look the part no gimmick, why don't you speak Indian with locals? Arabic/Persian/ some Indian dialect are very similar, you should not have any issues. enjoy your visit.

Yeah, don't be too concerned about the police man who pointed a torch in your face! He seem to be probably a low life and the only exiting thing he ever saw in his caged life was yourself being there.

No Disrespect to anyone. But ALGERIANS are really nice people. Yes, they are too serious about their religion but I won't say it's a bad belief. Everyone is free to choose and practice their beliefs.
