I've been obsessed with this song for a few months now, and today, I searched for covers of it on youtube, and here I am. I love this arrangement. Love hearing it in G minor, and I think the woodwinds playing the string part sounds great. In the original, the bass line is, as the kids say these days, "fire."

This song is an excellent example of a song that was composed to let every section of the orchestra (horn section, wind instruments, percussion, etc) to show off its strengths. This song shows how different sections can complement each other to bring about a more moving and emotional experience by playing music that highlights the characteristics of every type of instrument. The composer of this song (Bill Conti) is one of the best in the 20th century in Hollywood and film. No one does it better!!
