Hii❤. I have read that will should be used in all future cases if we are in a formal setting. Also , i cannot quite understand offer with woll
@oxfordenglishnow13 күн бұрын
Hi! ❤ Yes, in formal English, "will" is generally used to indicate future actions or intentions, as it’s clear and direct. When it comes to offers with "will": Using "will" for offers is common and can express a willingness to help. For example: "I will help you with that." "We will arrange the meeting for you." These statements indicate a readiness to assist or offer something. Let me know if you'd like more examples or clarification on any of this! 😊

Both "will win" and "are going to win" can be correct, but they convey slightly different nuances regarding certainty and intent. "Will Win" Usage: "Will" is often used to express a prediction based on personal belief or spontaneous decisions. Example: "They are training hard. I'm sure they will win." Nuance: This suggests a confident prediction based on the speaker's belief or knowledge. It emphasizes the speaker's certainty about the future event. "Are Going to Win" Usage: "Are going to" is used to indicate a planned action or a prediction based on present evidence. Example: "They are training hard. I'm sure they are going to win." Nuance: This suggests that there is present evidence (their hard training) leading to the prediction. It emphasizes the cause-and-effect relationship between their current actions and the future outcome. Conclusion In your sentence, both options are grammatically correct and can be used. The choice depends on the emphasis you want to convey: If you want to highlight your confident prediction based on your belief, use "will win." If you want to highlight the prediction based on the present evidence (their hard training), use "are going to win." Given the context you provided, "are going to win" might be slightly more appropriate because it connects their current hard training with the expected outcome. Final Sentence: "They are training hard. I'm sure they are going to win." This sentence clearly shows that their hard training is the basis for your confident prediction of their victory.

Hello mam I am from India .I will try to explain what I am asking . Normally we use "there" for showing existence (person, something ) like this There is a pen. Above after "there is" has come a noun But here sentences follow this structure There+ is/are + verb3/verb ing+ object (original subject) As. There is killed ravan on stage. There is lying a book. Aslo this is used in clauses As. This is the place where there is given a book. Can we use like these sentences If these structures are correct And any exception in these structures. So please tell me Because it is very important for my exams. Please reply 🙏🙏

Hi raghvendra, There is A killed ravEn on stage. This is correct. There is lying a book. This does not work. This is the place where there is given a book. This sentence doesn't work either. Maybe you could say, " This is the place where a book was given." I hope that helps. 🙏🏻
