The second of my Benidorm adventure videos... In this one we're visiting Pla de Petracos which is an incredible array of caves featuring drawings from we don't know when painted by we don't know who because of we don't know why. So join me for a little bit of SLOW TV, travel with Geoff style videos and sit back and enjoy. Not too much editing on this one, we're just enjoying the atmosphere of the place. #spain #travel #Pladepetracos #benidorm #adventure #exploring #slowtv

Those mountains have been pushed up, and other land has sunk. That's why you see the different rock strata going vertically and not horizontally. So the flooding could well have happened before the mountains sprang up. Fascinating stuff!!! Spain has some amazing megalithic structures too 😊

A thoughtful reflection on how insignificant the timescales of our lives are. The geological formations created millions of years ago, the petroglyphs painted thousands of years ago, whilst at best we can hope for maybe 100 years. I remember a similar feeling looking at the 4000+ year old rock paintings in the red canyon outside of Las Vegas on holiday one year. Dry desert, oven levels of heat, but beautiful art left behind on the rocks, around the same time as the Egyptians were building pyramids. We could barely manage an hour in that heat (early August) but obviously people lived, or at least moved through, that area. Thanks for sharing.

Geoff, I can completely understand your awe at visiting this amazing site. Years ago, long before my dear Wife passed away (just six weeks before our 50th. wedding anniversary !) we were on holiday in Turkey (from our home in Hampshire, UK) and on a day-trip fom our hotel base visited the Cappadocia region, which has some awesome landscape features, carved out of the soft rock by the passage of water over many many years by river and flood water. Inhabitants in those subsequent far off days carved out dwellings in the soft strata, and even made chapels in the soft rock, the walls of which were often decorated with murals. On our visit the sun was shining and birds were singing their little hearts out. I am definately not a religious person, but the aura of the location we visited was indeed 'spititual', much like I expect you expetienced on your caves visit. Makes one feel so insignificant and that there has to be something more to life than ourt typical experience. Thank you for sharing your Spanish caves experience with us all, and in the process, also reminding me of those happier days in my earlier years. .

Yes, fascinating In the cave near.beginning of you filming , just when you laid down for better view of above, the circle you mentioned, there are two i think you said, one of them is actually hexigan shaped, not round. I zoomed in and its definitely at least five sided shape with a pale dot in the centre, mmmm fascinating Many questions , including why concrete placed in certain places, mmmmm Thanks Geoff for sharing this ☀️🇬🇧

So Geoff the image could be a human in ceremonial dress. Think of the Native Americans USA. They like their tassels. With a spirit or literal dragon type creature emerging from the earth. Could be a spiritual representation. 😲The dragon makes me think of a Chinese ceremonial dragon 🀄 so the painting represents an important ceremony or event in itself. ❤ Excellent was it a whale? Loved the blog thanks Geoff.😊

It's not a matter of what you or I think, but what a geologist knows. Where you're stepping is uneven and silty as you've guessed, prob from water flow. It's entirely plausible that it's newer than the roof where it's black from fires. Is the concrete actually man-made and put there? It seems to be completely random rather than purposeful. I think the holy feeling you have is contagious. You're bonding with ancient ancestors.

I'll throw in my 50p (inflation) & say those alcove caves look like a burial ceremonial place. With the outstretched arms of the recently passed & the bigger figure standing over them. Maybe those spikes around the body were an energy field, aura ? You said that you felt peace and an experience, my guess is that our ancestors were noting your presence. Anyway, i bet you cried, so your body felt something not able to be put into words; good for you Geoff 🥰 thank you for sharing your experience

Mmmm... what I was wondering... and then I heard an aeroplane going over... did you see many trails in the sky when looking up... no, not while you were in the cave... outside! A cave... that's all it is Geoff... an old cave, natural causes... and then man arrived and did a bit of art... and sheltered there during storms and cold. Mind you, I won't mind living there - but alas... the tourists would drive me mad!

Geoff. You mention the concrete has "a flow" to it. Is it possible it has ben poured down a vent hole from above the cave? Maybe to prevent people being injured or falling into said vent holes? Be interesting to explore the land above the cave to see any signs there.

What if it is an ancient MRI machine or some other emf creating structure. That would explain the raised hair on the glyphs. The black on the ceiling is like the black you get on certain fire/lights - one side gets 'cleaned' the other side gets a black deposit.

The theory is that the vertical strata was once horizontal when it was below sea level, and volcanic activity and movements in the earth's crust forced it upwards to it's present position.

The figures shown are like petroglyphs of 'squatter man" (aerial plasma discharge manifestations) that relate to cosmic events such as very intense solar storms and particularly to cyclic micro-novae of our Sun. That would date them back 60 or 120,000 years and survivors would be scant and survived mostly in elevated caves away from the extreme x-ray and proton streams and massive flooding mudslide and tsunami events, volcanic and earthquake activity. Those events could invoke massive land movement as well as impose a huge electromagnetic imprint ("vibes?") on the landscape. many plasma blasts would evolve from ground skyward and explain blasting out ejecta. The concrete may be for safety reasons but may also be to hide or protect some illustrations from vandalism. Magnetic Reversal News may be best quick source of info and links etc. to get up to speed on the subject; look at the petraglyphs playlists.

Good video, great vibes there. Caves created by volcanic activity and springs, opened out by humans (tool marks on entrance walls). Big scary hairy person was probably a cave hermit. Nice place to live, just do due diligence regarding taxes, rights etc because Spain is as on board with net zero as every other suicidal developed country. The nice scenery can mask the reality of living there.
