University has made your eldest so happy, you can tell it’s inspired and refreshed him so much… it did the same to me, I felt so liberated and empowered to learn as much as I could. It changed my life ❤️ so much so I stayed in for 9 years and became a professional student with a couple degrees but I couldn’t absorb enough :)

Katie should go where She feels is best for her. My advice - Don’t make your decision based on where your high school boyfriend is going, you may regret it in the future. Also, if you don’t know what you want to do, why waste all that money on college for no reason? Why don’t you take a year out, work/travel/grow, and really think about what you want to do. College isn’t the only option.

I think if you’re not sure what you want to do you should either consider community college for a year to start taking gen eds and figure out what you want to do, or go to a big school that has almost every major you could potentially want to pursue to try to avoid having to transfer schools once you do decide.

My advice to Katie is don’t do what your parents want you to do. At the end of the day it is Katie’s life. She’s going to be 18 in a few months. She is so young. Don’t make a decision based on what her boyfriend is doing. She could take a gap year. I am pretty sure Lauren Norris took a gap year.

So happy you will be going to college with Caden. I know people don’t advise this,but my daughter went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with her high school boyfriend and graduated in 4 years they are quarter systems very hard to do. It can work and I supported her decision 100%. They are still together and married. So proud of you Katie,God will continue to guide your path. Like Jill, you have an inappropriate relationship with your daughter's boyfriend. You would never be okay with your husband going on a trip with your son and his girlfriend to tour a college, but you're on board with Jill doing the same with Caden. Jill even admitted at 12:10 that she HUGGED Caden, and in other videos, she calls him "sweetheart." I doubt you would be okay with Mike hugging any of his son's girlfriends or calling them sweetheart. You sound like a misandrist. So much for you being a "Christian."

I graduated from USF almost 5 years ago this May. So cool to see Katie touring the campus, it almost made me a little emotional!!😅 what an exciting journey!! USF is awesome! I’m sure Katie will love wherever she chooses though!

Katie might really like USF. Not because Kaden will be there (I always think it's a bad idea to choose a college based upon a boy,) but because there's just more to do in Tampa, more opportunities. Plus she'll be closer to beaches, and a lot closer to Sarasota to visit the family which would be nice. It's a lot shorter of a drive from Tampa than it is from Tallahassee.

My opinion is quite unpopular, but I advice Katie to do whatever makes her the happiest. If she is really excited about going to college with her highschool boyfriend, why not? If that's what makes her happier, then be it. It isn't that much about the college but the people you surround yourself with what matters most. I believe at any college she will make great and supportive friends, regardless of her going to the same one as her brother, boyfriend or another place. We are in this world to be happy and Katie's in her golden years. Let her enjoy this new phase of her life as happy and fullfilled as possible. If for whatever reason they break up, there's lots of other boys at college. However, I don't think they will. I know many people who are still with their highschool boyfriends and they are in their mid 20s. It isn't that uncommon. Wish you the best, Katie!

The Registrar at USF " Do I smell feet"? Mike " Love that girl " !!!!! Caden, there's an old saying, "in for a penny, in for a pound". Katie excels most when she has a good support system around her ( as do we all ), so if she chooses to attend college at the same place her boyfriend attends, she will have some built in support readily at hand. That said, college is about learning and growth and choosing one should be in line with what you see for your future aspirations. Sure things can change and trust me , they will change, but setting a good educational foundation will empower future learning, so choose based on your individual educational needs. Also, keep in mind that the world in general and the workforce specifically can be extremely fickle which often requires us to be very flexible when entering the working world. By that I mean, don't be surprised or upset if after attaining your degree, you find yourself working in a position or field that does not require or pertain to you exact field of study. Be willing to learn, be flexible, be understanding, be patient, be diligent, be yourself.....and you will be fine. As it says on my shirt " it's another day in which to Excel"!!!
