Think it's a shortened name for Hamstead Heath gardens in London. It's a really pretty area with wealthy homes, gardens and open swimming ponds. Usually heath also means an area of open land with little shrubs and not much growing (I guess she's going for a double meaning like it should be dreamy but it's dead).

I work for traffic court in Santa Barbara county (CA) and none of our tickets have prices and they all have an ‘appear by’ date, but it’s just a due date for a fine. I would call them and ask about paying the fine and traffic school options to remove the point from his record! Hiring an attorney for a traffic infraction is such a scam, at least here! They charge more than your ticket cost and they don’t care enough to actually fight for you to lower it. Even if it’s dismissed you’re paying hundreds to an attorney for standing in a room with a judge. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also zoom is usually available, especially post covid!

you only get summoned to court in NC if you are going 20 over. My mom got pulled on what i’m assuming is the exact same road going to OBX because we didn’t realize the speed and she was going 20 over but he wrote ticket for less so we didn’t have to come back to that county for court lol.

The same thing happened to me in NC! I went to court and the judge literally left the room and everyone with a speeding ticket lined up to talk to a state attorney (I think that’s what he was, honestly not sure) and the cop in the room told everyone the right wording to say to get it dropped down from a moving violation to a vehicle malfunction or something like that. Then once it’s lowered to that offense they give you the amount which was a few hundred dollars. I don’t think the judge ever came back in either. It’s 100% because they want the money and was a huge waste of time!

Listener from the UK here 👋 I think the ‘heath’ refers to an area in North London called Hampstead Heath. It’s a nice woodland/park area outside of Camden. It’s an expensive area and there were rumours a couple years ago Taylor was going to buy a house there

North Carolinian here. Traffic court gets drawn out here unless u admit guilt it'll take 1-2 yrs to handle. Don't shoot the mssnger😊
