Roy, I understand why you want the Christmas character photos .. it is because you want a lovey memory of the event. I wanted to say something about that show with Micky Mouse and Minnie Now you may not think this way but to me … I found it to be over polished. Every move was exacting. Cold and calculating. Nothing was improvised. You get the sense if you were to watch it ten times. It would be exactly the same. Every single time. The performance was ‘fake’ feeling and that is not why your there. The other shows looked good >>> How much did the event cost per person ? I know you are there all the time so you really have no need to ride the rides. It was the other stuff that was the attraction for you two.

These "parties" which occur EVERY night during the season are one of the most egregious and obnoxious metaphorical slap in the customer face from Disney in their lengthy and storied history of anti- consumer/face slapping history. Why do I have to now pay an additional admission to be in a park that I already paid once (earlier the same day) in order to attend what is being branded as a "special event", while the event does not go beyond a different ambient lighting plan and portable cocktail bars serving stupid drinks that no one really wants out of plastic cups? Are the cast members serving these "cocktails" out of plastic cups being compensated at a proportional rate to the customer aggregate cost of a full day park attendance in addition to price of admission to the "party" (party being code for tacky extortion tactics) The piece de resistance, I have discovered is the potential kink in the armor of these "parties" being a "day admission" park goer with in park restaurant reservations that commence prior to the onset of the "party" and as a result of normal sit down meal pacing, find themselves in the middle of the ongoing "party" which started during their meal. Disney, in their exceptional ability to ensure NO ONE receives anything as a courtesy or fun unintended consequence paying customers may get once in a while - in this instance, allowing the handful of customers who find themselves in this nuanced situation to be left to enjoy the "party" at will, since they're already in the park (which cost Disney a few extra pennies to throw and charge $100+ for the idiots, i mean, guests to attend). LOL, NO. Instead, in a true display of their ability to think of every possible angle to make sure no one gets anything for "free", You will first, upon completion of your meal be rounded up in the lobby of the restaurant, falsely imprisoned until your party along with any other party finishing in a similar timeframe. You will then be tagged like cattle being tagged in the ear before the chopping block, with an obnoxiously large NEON YELLOW concert style paper bracelet as to denote your identity to all staff that YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE. And as if this weren't insulting enough after paying hundreds of dollars for a mediocre meal and hundreds of dollars for a "day time" ticket, no, no no. You will then be ESCORTED OUT by not one but 2 cast members. One in the front of the line of UNWANTED CUSTOMERS and one bringing up the rear to deter any potential bolters in their yellow bracelet ALL THE WAY TO PAST THE PARK ENTRANCE GATES. Like you are some kind of common criminal being escorted out the park. All of this to make sure you don't - even for a moment contemplate - attending the party or sneaking in a ride when you did not pay an admission to be in that park during these "party hours" which for the last 50 years were free. I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at Disney over the collective decades, many full family trips at club level deluxe resort accommodations, full stop, rack rate, just bite your lip and look the other way, forking over grotesque amounts of money to these people. I can tell Disney with an unwavering certainty that because of things like these "parties" and the countless much more subtle anti customer, veiled hostile money grabbing moves they have started embracing with less and less restraint; I AM DONE. I fire you Disney. You have failed on every metric to produce a cost for value proposition and your declining attitude and inflated arrogance have bloated your sense of worth so far out of your station, you are now unrecognizable and an embarassment to your former self. BYE.

Different strokes for different folks. I personally don't understand waiting in line for over an hour and a half to see a character. I would never do that - it eats up too much of your time.

The hope was that it wouldn't take that long and that we were being strategic getting in line before the event technically started, but it backfired a bit, haha.
