If you ever go back to London again, I reccomend Covert Garden and Camden Market, too try lots of different foods! And also reccomend the natural history museum.

I also used to travel to London with my father every few years. It was like some kind of pilgrimage, to show me where I was born before we flew away to other European countries :D We also used to watch a musical show every time we visited. Your lovely video reminded me of all those great times spent with him.

Your visit to Westminster Abbey reminded me of our late great Queen Elizabeth II whose funeral was held there just over a year ago, it broke me up yet again just remembering it. So glad you guys came and had a great time in our capital city. Please come again and explore many of our other great towns and cities -.Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, York, Chester, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff. Other great channels to check out: Rick Steves, Magenta Otter, Magic Geekdom, amongst many others. Peace and love. ❤🇬🇧🇺🇸

Did you recently travel? We are also planning a trip. How was the weather? Do we need to keep an umbrella handy ?
@rvlewau8713 Жыл бұрын
We traveled around Europe earlier this summer, and the weather was in the mid 60s (F) in London so make sure to bring a jacket. In Paris and Italy it was in the 70s and 80s (F). Venice did lightly sprinkle for a couple minutes, but that was about it. We didn't bring an umbrella because it takes up too much room in the suitcase, but we brought ponchos just in case. We would recommend checking the weather before leaving on the trip to properly prepare for the weather.

@@rvlewau8713 thank you for the reply. We just got back but wanted to know if you traveled through train to Italy and Venice. And how long was the ride. Also if the tickets cost a lot

You should have gone into the Cubana. The interior is brilliant. A big mural of Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. Kalashnikovs and Russian rifles and machine guns hanging on the walls. The bright colour scheme of the decor and tables and chairs matching it. It's on 3 levels and open planned. They do coffee or alcohol, including cocktails. The food's nothing special, but it's good all the same. Very busy in the evening or night, but less so in the daytime, a good place to get a coffee and chill. And it's only 5/10 minutes walk from the Tate Modern and in the opposite direction about 5/10 minutes from the Imperial War Museum.

@@rvlewau8713 I'm afraid Henry was talking nonsense. Whilst the full name of the country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, how we refer to the country differs according to circumstances. If I am abroad I would probably say I was from the UK. If I was referring to the main island I would say Britain and England, if I was referring to which part of the UK I come from. And of course the UK is part of Europe, both physically, culturally and historically. I'm afraid the Brexit Referendum brought all the xenophobes and 'Little Englanders' out of the woodwork!

It's shameful that all the museums and art galleries (except the Saatchi and Saatchi which is shit anyway) are free, but you have to pay to go into the churches (Westminster Abbey, St. Pauls Cathedral). And both Buckingham Palace Gallery and Kensington Palace charge. Disgraceful, as these places are paid for through tax payer money. They're ours, but the royal family, greedy as ever, charge for entrance to see what we already own and pay for.
