2 things boost my confidence in standard chartered bank 1- economic moat 2-economic of scales • Dcf is more popular in stock valuation but it is subjective in nature . I always see positive projection in Dcf valuation like 5 % or 10 % consistent growth annually . In reality , it doesn’t happen . Just estimate how much they can earn when the time in their favour and we need quality as well . Quality is antithesis of value trap Dcf valuation method is good at hydropower where we get high accuracy no big deviation
