Bhai, I accept whatever you are saying about Indian passport but it's not because of Indian economy or something. I live in Spain and have Indian passport and have travelled to Tangier one time. The time I travelled to Tangier, I only had Schengen Visa, no Spanish Residence Card and they asked me nothing, both ways. The first time I entered Schengen(Madrid), they asked me nothing also. One time I was coming back to Valencia from Chisinev(Moldova) and they asked me so many questions, both times while going there and coming from there. I have travelled many countries in Europe and faced no problem at all. So the biggest reason is Indians travelling illegally, that's why they check you but it also depends on how suspicious you look and that can happen anywhere around European Union. It happens with Chinese too, you can check on Google, their passport ranking is 62nd in the world although they are second biggest economy in the world. So unless, we Indians stop travelling illegally, our passport will not gain trust. No country wants illegal immigrants, not even India. If you come here legally and contribute to their tax system, they will always respect you. I never had problem with police or immigration.

While it is true that American passport holders do enjoy more advantages, it is not the same for Indian passport holders. As per the Henley Passport Index 2024, India is ranked 82nd with access to 62 countries, while America is ranked 6th with access to 189 countries. It may take some time to change people's perception of India and its passport, especially in the eyes of 3rd world immigration officers. However, I believe that you can contribute to improving this situation. Before blaming our passport, I hope you take my opinion into consideration.

My first international flight was to Paris only... it's nothing like that if you came early a couple of times then it will take less time at immigration...my first visa on my passport still it took less than a min to clear the immigration at Paris(main) airport...😊

Like if there are more illegal migrants from your country to western countries, then ranking of your passport is generally low .
