Western culture is programemed to make uyou suspicious of your community. In the east, guests are gods. If someone new comes into a western neighbourhood they are not accepted immediately. I've lived in smaller towns in the west and people always say you have to live here for a long time to be a part of the community. It's a joke but there are facts within jokes. When I travel in the east, I am always reminded how hospitable the people are especially the ones who we are told are dangerous.

@@ishmaelsassoon795 brother here in Pakistan, we have a whole state of pashtuns (kpk), balochis (Balochistan) and gilgit and Azad Kashmir who are white as snow, in Sindh we have darker shades and in Punjab we have a mix of both, we see different shades everyday, atleast I do, and hence it doesn't matter for us the way it would do if we were all white or all brown or all black, we ourselves are of different shades.
@putmynameontheinternet81332 жыл бұрын
@@ishmaelsassoon795 Even though that exists, that's a very in-group thing. They dont think white people are less or more for being light, and they dont think black people being dark as these are generally understood to be the default of those races, regardless of familiar social status. (It is true that black people can have a diversity of complexions.. but the typical Indian or Pakistani walking down the street will have no idea about this.) As such Colorism is in-group issue. If you are Indian or Pakistani, NOW your shade matters. However if you're white or black.. its understood that there is not much variation among you and your background will not be presumed.
@florad6292 жыл бұрын
@@saintsmafia1346 what balochis are fair? Which balochis have you seen?? Ok i understand. Balochi people have different colors coz balochistan is spread on a vast area. So the areas around KPK might be fairer otherwise balochis are normal brown people with darkest of shades as you go south. The fairer colors of people are found in Kashmir, northern belt (like giglit chitral), KPK n upper punjab. The central areas of Pakistan and south have vairations between medium brown, light brown or black color. Anyhow I have seen extremly color conscious people are punjabis and pathans. Rest all people not care much about color. But yes every mother in Pakistan likes a fair girl for her son for marriage.

Moreover they are also loved bcz of Hazrat bilal tribe(Hazrat bilal was the first black Muslim who gave Azan of Namaz, and too close to our holy prophet Muhammad SAW). In Pakistan you will never find racism, their is no difference in black and white, as pakistan is a country of diverse cultures and people's, in Northern areas and KPK, Balochistan people are of white skin while in south its dark skins.
