Met a girl from Taiwan who was visiting my city for work purposes in November, had to be the absolute most wholesome and genuine friendship I've had with anyone. She singlehandedly became the reason I got my passport & wanted to learn about a whole new culture outside of the interests I've had most of my life beforehand. Nice to see a more modern and larger influencer giving Taiwan some attention, and hilarious to see the gifts being given similarly to what I was given. I was the first black man she ever met + befriended in person, so she was interested in black culture too. Felt like nothing but love and respect coming from her.
