Күн бұрынFinally able to go to the eye doctor! I had mixed feelings: happy to be going to hopefully get answers, but also very scared of the answers. The pressure in my eye has been quite high, so they think it's glaucoma. Now we just wait for a specialist. I got new glasses, but I still can't see all the time due to my vision going in and out.

The glasses are super cute. We've used eye buy direct and Mukaal before. Zeelol is another with cheap frames and glasses depending on your Rx. Hang in there Hon, I'm the mom of a 27 year old who is 85% bed bound from the effects of Covid. Healthcare is challenging. Finding good doctors who really care and are willing to dig in to determine Dx and treat with the best tx protocols is like finding a needle in a haystack.

@Jaidgreenyellowblue my daughter had Lyme disease and even though we had insurance no lyme specialist would accept it, only self pay. It was so defeating. It made me fight harder for her to get the care she needed without spending thousands. I truly mean this when I say it, if you need help cutting the red tape I will help you! I love watching you, and I hate to see you in need of help. She gave up trying and it got worse, your a beautiful spirit and you deserve to be treated with respect. My guess is that you need an Opthmologist (dr) and you are seeing an optometrist who cannot give you the specialized care you need. Your insurance requires a referral from a primary care Dr to go. It's so crazy, if you need someone to help I will. Us NYs get a bad reputation , I'm from upstate and believe help thy neighbor. Love and best wishes on your journey ❤️

At least now you know it’s not glaucoma right now. I’m sorry that you’re going through this. I know only a little bit of how you’re feeling for when I couldn’t see for awhile from glass. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone and I’ll always be here to support you💗

It's glaucoma; we just don't know the type yet. The specialist will be the one to diagnose which type it is. I'm sorry you went through that; it really is scary. Thank you 💚

We have known since last August that I have been developing glaucoma, but my last eye specialist was hesitant to give me eye drops. And now we know it's gotten worse.
