Jeanious Jean i’m glad you picked up on that. I think that’s my favourite part of the video. Having others know the rules and sticking up for York is fantastic. Glad you liked the video. And thanks for watching. Have a great day!

Kind of a funny visual... around 4:05 you come up to a curb and Yorkie stops, and in the frame the curb says "look" with arrows in either direction...
@stevefoxyorktheguidedog43504 жыл бұрын
Josh Garay in my case it should say listen in both directions. Ha ha. I’ve never thought of it that way. Thanks for watching. Cheers!

One of the guide dog users biggest fears… Roadworks with fresh tar! Sounds to me like he did a pretty good job of funny his way around the obstacle, good job York! We are still stuck in stage III restrictions here in Victoria, we only used my doggies getting at the moment is to go on big walks around the local residential streets. I can’t wait until I’m able to get out further than my local streets and take her to somewhere like the hairdresser or the pub or even a big adventure down to Melbourne. Hope you are well.

Mel’s Blind Life thanks. Yes I was very proud of York. He did great. At least things seem to be getting better in Victoria. Hopefully you’ll be able to get out and about again soon. Look forward to seeing some of your adventures. Stay safe. Look after yourself. Cheers!

What a great example of how helpful a guy dog is. Great job using those other sensors to detect the hot tar but, once again, York is the superstar for finding his way and getting you through that safely. I just love your videos because they are so descriptive and I love watching how other people interact with you. I think it’s that human interaction that guide dogs facilitate and it makes it so enjoyable to get out and about

Bama Blind thanks. Yes it’s the interactions you have along the way I think that make it so special. He is amazing and he did great work that day. Glad you liked it. Thanks again for watching. Cheers!

Very well done and handled. I do think it is awesome how you felt the heat from tar. Things like that for sighted people are so taken for granted. Lovely video and fabulous Yorkie. Your videos are so valuable to us puppy raisers. Well done!

BirdNerdSophie I am told that he wags his tail the entire time we are walking. It just swooshes from side to side the whole time. He does love to go to work. We are both well. Hope you are too. And your flock if that’s what you call them. They are pretty amazing to.Have a great day!

hi Steve. that was great. Im just starting to get out with Spencer by myself now. I have watched many guide dog videos, but never until now I have one did I realise just how amazing they are. You and Yorkie just get on with it, work things out and off you go...awesome. Hope all is well with you and your family...Terry

Low-Vision UK - Terry's View thanks. Of course that doesn’t happen overnight. But over time things just get better and better. It’ll be the same for you. After one year things will be so much better. I’m sure you are doing great by all reports. But things will just keep on improving. . Thanks for watching and have a great day!

I have a question for you Steve even though your not supposed to touch\talk to the dog when working do handlers sometimes bend the rules or are they strict about it? Thanks in advance
@stevefoxyorktheguidedog43503 жыл бұрын
I can’t speak for everybody. But I don’t let people Pat York while he is in Harness. Sometimes I will take his harness off, so somebody can give him a pat. It just depends. Thanks again for watching. I hope that answer helps. Cheers!
