We're glad you enjoyed it! We loved our experience in Paris and we would definitely consider going to future games! A big draw for us in Paris was the unique venues. How often do you get to see horses jumping around the grounds at Versailles, or beach volleyball under the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower? The historic venues were definitely one of the reasons we chose to go to the Paris games. We learned a lot of good lessons on this trip, so if we go again in the future, hopefully it'll be an even better experience! We would probably choose to go to the winter games to see some different sports, but at the same time, there's something cool about seeing the Olympics in your home country, so maybe LA is in our future. Please, notice that you did buy cat A tickets for some events. It's often 10x cheaper to buy a cat D. Anyway, nice vlog ! The crowd was awesome ! Opening Ceremony was insane on TV, despite the poor fliming quality offered by Eurosport. They quite never show you, the crowd, or the magnificent monuments around.

Yup, we know we bought cat A tickets for some events - the lower priced tickets were often sold out even though we had bought many tickets over a year in advance. As first time visitors, we definitely learned a lot of lessons about planning and being spectators during the games, and we hope others can learn from our experience and see what it's like to be there during the games.
