You can go to the hotel in town and get Authur a bath. Won't spoil the game for you. Just treat your horse in the game like you would in real life. For example in camp if you will take the saddle off your horse you will bond with it quicker. Enjoyed your game play.

Show everything and don't worry about cutting out slow parts that are "boring". Love your casual play style and not just rushing from mission to mission so you can beat the game in XX number of hours. Take your time and enjoy, you only get to play this for the first time once!! Wish I could play it again for the first time!

This is the first time I hear that song from Pearson, this game is insane, it released 5 years ago and there's still no other game out there in this level. I'm so glad you're enjoying it, Cam, you're probably heard this many times by now, but if it doesn't become one of your favorite experiencies in all of the entertainment media, probably nothing else will, that's how special this thing is. Oh, and by the way, your can bathe Arthur at different motels scattered through the game, there's actually that one in Valentine where you saved Karen from the drunk dude. I'm very excited for you to experience this

The game is really complex, from the guns you need to hunt specific animals, to dialogue and encounters. There is a ton of dialogue you can miss in the camp that is chapter specific, same as some activities within the camp. I would say take your time, explore and hang around everywhere as much as you can.

Hi! New subscriber here for the RDR2 playthru! My spoiler-free advice is simple: have fun, immerse yourself (and Arthur) as fully as possible into the world and let the game breathe as there is literally so much that you can do that is non-main mission related. RDR2 may be one of the few games that everyday mundane tasks are actually good viewing... because they usually lead into something. Your game play and reactions to the game is so enjoyable! Thanks!

This is the best game I've ever played. I grew up on FF7 and the like. This is the best. The story in however you chose to play is amazing. There are key moments in this game that I will never forget. Truly inspired. Rockstar always produces, but they outdid themselves with this one. The depth of detail in all aspects is crazy. I can spend hours on hunting alone. 10/10. Perfect game.

Love the long vids Cam- honestly you could play this and explore every single thing in the game without cutting anythin and I reckon people will still watch. I love that your 4 hours in and have only done 2 missions in Horseshoe overlook! Keep all your exploration and NPC interactions, and maybe just cut things like corpse looting and camp chores, or if you're making a journey you've already done before wihout anything interesting happening along the way. This may make this series long but you'll enjoy the journey and we will enjoy it with you. Good luck!

A few tips for you: The footlocker at the end of your bed will let you change your clothes and make new outfits from the combinations of what you have. You can save those outfits for easy selection and save a couple of them to your horse. Check out the various stores in towns you encounter for stuff you may be interested in. Always check the catalog on the counter. It's easy to miss stuff if you just browse the shelves. If you think you've lost your hat, look in the saddlebags of your horse. Your hat is stored there by default. Guns can be improved at a gunsmith. (function and cosmetics) To get to the map faster, hold the touchpad rather than tapping it and you wont have to go through the menu. ' You can back up wagons and horses (slowly) by holding the R1. (I think. What ever button to slow down, hold it while stopped) As for your stuttering from the first episode, you won't find any graphics settings. It's a PS4 game and it never got an upgrade patch for the PS5. If you're playing from an external hard drive, try moving it to the SSD and see if that helps. If it's already on the SSD and stuttering, that's a head scratcher since that's MUCH faster than the PS4 drive was. If you do have the option to play on PC, it does run a lot better. I find the 60fps I get on the PC makes a lot of difference over the console version and the graphics are slightly nicer on my crappy PC. They really should do a next gen patch like they did with GTA5. Marion Williamson is also known as Bill. His deviancy is that he prefers the company of men and they didn't like that sort of thing in the US army back then. If you think your new horse looks small, the fastest ones in the game are tiny compared to what everyone else is riding. Looks hilarious when the whole gang is on the move. The hunter vision you were looking for when you were rabbit hunting was unlocked when Charles taught you to hunt the deer. I think it's clicking both sticks at the same time. L3+R3 Cooked meat will act as a health pack if you're injured and doesn't go bad in your satchel. It's a good idea to cook all meat you have when you're at a fire unless you intend to donate it to the camp at Pearsons wagon. There are bath's in every town if you can find them or you could just go for a swim. Your horse will also get dirty and you can either take it for a swim or brush it. This may seem like a lot of information, but it hardly scratches the surface. RDR2 is a HUGE game with a ton of content and side missions and more random points of interest in the world than any other game. Exploration can really pay off so if you see something that looks at all interesting, check it out.

That's what makes the game fun! To live inside that realm and time from the past is a real treat. I'd recommend exploring and upgrading the a few missions because those usually unlock an ability or a new area. Then explore and upgrade more. It allows you to learn about people and what is going on around them. Even if it is invisible, when you approach people, press different keys/buttons and find out which key opens this menu. It shows you Greet/antagonize options. You missing too much. Seeing you play without this feature make me sad. Edit: Nevermind. You found it finally 6:07 :) And try Greet/Greet/Antagonize for most funny interactions:)

I love the dappled thoroughbred you can get if you have the game of the year or whatever it is edition. That is a fast horse that you can keep for the whole game. With how worried you are about Davey being that small, you might want to avoid an Arabian. They are about the same size, they arguably have the best stats, but personally I think Missouri Foxtrotters are the way to go. Foxtrotters and Thoroughbreds are the fastest horses.

Loving your playthrough! Just a couple of hints. I consider the Springfield rifle indispensable, equipped with express ammunition and a scope. The great thing about putting a scope on a Springfield is that you can toggle it on or off as needed. Also the varmint rifle is free, and perfect for small animals. Lastly, it may be helpful for you to know that the animals in this game can't attack you if you jump up on top of a rock.

New viewer and subscriber here, gotta say that I love your gameplay! I promise you that you'll enjoy the game more if you take your time exploring and immersing yourself in the world. Just a little heads up tho, as you progress the story, try to avoid reading some comments if possible as they tend to allude to some spoilers. RDR2 is known for its phenomenal storyline, so as someone who got spoiled in the game, you might not want to risk doing the same. Another tip, you can bathe Arthur in a hotel in a town (Valentine for example). You can also rent a room there to sleep or to change your clothes. Enjoy the game!

Hi from Louisiana. I'm enjoying watching your playthrough. I am starting my first playthrough, I can't believe I didn't play this game sooner. I am taking my time with the game cause I don't want to skip or miss anything. I saw a video that you can jump on hoseas horse after the bear mission blow it up with dynamite and his rolling block rifle will drop for you. I'm gonna do the missions you did now and keep watching your playthrough as I go along. 😊

I love seeing people play this for the first time. Are you planning on completing the optional challenges? Like Bandit, Horseman, Master Hunter (which you already unlocked in the prologue), and so on.

I request to do all the exploration on cam, please. I beat the game already, and so many interesting things you'll find on the exploration. This is just amazing game.

Most of us who have played this game will have absolutely no problem watching you explore every single nook and cranny and/or even do the more mundane tasks in this game. We're here because we LOVE this game as well as watching other people such as yourself get to know and love this game too. 👍
