Finishing just six minutes behind that machine of a man that completed fifteen Grand Tour races is something you should be very happy with, and a great learning experience as well. Your only real flaw was not having the balls to ride across that little stream. Cheers!

Hey Dylan! I decided to take on my first ever ultra-endurance gravel race last week. I haven't raced in the past 10 years and haven't ever done anything even close to this. The downside is the fundraising is nowhere near where they need to be to purchase the command vehicle.

@@rpdole there is grant funding available for emergency vehicles. Often public services grants are based on matching funds. I plan to research the total take from GL donations. It’s a good model IMHO.

i could hardly believe the water crossing. omg on wet feet for the next umpteen hours. great video. i raced road in the 70s, mainly time trials. a couple of "cyclo crosses" short on normal road bikes of the era. absolutely nothing like these world class challenging events. amazing. love your technical stuff too.

Definitely a well written and produced video and race report. Easily held my interest. Even the stats; my eyes usually glaze over when I start hearing numbers, but the were presented in just the right amount to add context to the race. Nice job.
