​@@ManiX207​ if I remember right, they changed the law so you needed permission from the establishment to stream, then you had to tell the people around you that you were going to stream, and if they objected, you have to blur out their faces, which is much harder for streamers then say a edited youtube video. The girls were talking about how they had a lot of plans with highgai but pretty much had to scrap them

@@ManiX207 So, I haven't been able to find anything concrete about this after saying this, but I distinctly remember hearing in the wake of the foreign streamers being absolute buttholes while livestreaming for content that there was talk of requiring permission not just for recording but livestreaming as well, which basically would make livestreamed content like this incredibly difficult. I might be reacting to old news, but I swear I heard this in clips from VShojo members and friends.

Dang new JP laws essentially ban livestreaming in public in Japan. With the new laws you need to manually blur every other persons' face otherwise they can sue you for not giving their consent, which is impossible in real-time.
