If we do not take care of a few fundamentals of environmental sustainability, the price we pay will be very unfortunate.

Hi, thanks a lot for the video. It`s really helpful to see all of these inspiring buildings. I have one question about your sources: Where do you get all of those numbers from, like the the need of air conditioning is beeing reduced by 33%? Could you link your sources in the video? That would be really helpful :)
@GoingGreenOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Hi Thomas! Thank you for watching the video. I shall provide a list of sources in the video description later today. Here is the source I have for air conditioning- www.sempergreen.com/en/solutions/living-wall/living-wall-benefits

With enough greens, it seems at least some noise would be absorbed, rather than reflected.

Fantastic for the environment and just looks architecturally brilliant why isn’t this being done everywhere especially on the mass amount of student flats being knocked up - definitely not happening outside of the major cities can’t say I’ve seen many or at least any in Manchester are these mostly in London? I’m going to do my full drive wall as a green wall :) gotta help those bees out :D

Excellent! Yes lots in London I’m not sure about Manchester

@@GoingGreenOfficial hopefully it’ll get pushed on I’m in Lancaster and there is none being put up here just makes buildings far easier to look at :)

Money is always the limiting factor, well if humans used their brilliance to make them yield. Like herbal teas and medicines. And on the roofs, berries and small fruits! The possibilities are damn near endless!!

It's great, just don;t forget the bugs, rats, mice, fire hazards that plants can cause, and the million other things that used to make cities very dangerous. That's why they look the way they do now, so we are safe. I like the idea, but this will require an lot of resources and some serious planning so it doesn't backfire. I hope we can use science and engineering to make this happen, but not before that's done. We can certainly help things by doing our part in the meantime. Cities aren't being overrun by steel and concrete, it's just what they're made of, just thought that was a weird thing to say.

Graffiti is art. It’s a counter culture created by elitist gatekeeping most artistic forms.

a lot of these ideas are just concept-stage and barely scrape the surface. They are being promoted by people who dont really understand the science involved. Some real-world highly useful options include solvent-free paints eg Lakeland Paints - which are solvent-free, VOC-free, Non-toxic and actually edible ! Surely, paint solvent is a tiny concern you might think ?? Not at all - paint emitted 24 MILLION tons of greenhouse-gas solvents into the atmosphere last year and every year (WHO 180 et al) - and these solvents are on average 20-50x worse than CO2. So - if you really want to do something to help counter global warming you could do a lot worse than switch to one of the VOC-Free paints out there.
