This show means so much to me. When I was little I used to watch this with my Dad on Versus. This really further ignited my passion for fishing and really made me a life long fan of Mike Iaconelli. He's still by far my favorite fisherman. He really taught me about viewing fishing as a "puzzle".

Man I just started fishing bought everything from chargeable air stones, bait buckets, different rods and reels, different size hooks and weights, bobbers and honestly I don't think I waisted a dime. All I want to do now is go fishing and trying all waters, ponds, lagoons, rivers and lakes... I even told my wife I'm going to the Carolinas just to fish for red snappers

I fish Lake Michigan near Chicago for smallys and salmon/trout and other stuff like that. It can be tough but it is a fun lake to fish.

Hey Mike, I was in Lake Calumet in 2000 when you were in the corner at the head of the lake and caught that big drum/ sheephead. It was very intense at the time. I think he was a little dizzy when you released it. lol

Got a bone to pick with you mike !! Second time your abu Garcia mike ike rod broke on me .. yesterday the medium heavy during my snakehead tournament snapped in half.. I'm thinking the blanks are garbage.
