What I loved about this video was the analysis of the dragon's anatomy and what parts of its body like its claws can do, and the spikes it had on its tail, I didn't even know they were spikes, I thought they were like a species small membranes that help it fly, but it turned out not, and also what the skull of a night fury is like, I didn't know that, you surprised me.

considering Toothless can "outstretch" his tail fin (and it has straight bone supports like those seen in aquatic creatures with membrane-fins), I'd say its a pretty reasonalbe assumption that the tail fin is comprised of bone, or at least hard spikes joined in a socket to the tail vertibrae ^^

Only other method I can think of is if Toothless decided to give you a big hug... while he activates his invisibility thus turning himself into an electric bomb. Before anyone tries to argue with me, Hiccup was protected by his armor made out of Toothless' scales, so he turned invisible too but imagine if he didn't have that luxury.

Out of all those ways to be killed by Toothless the Lethal drop is the only plausible one to survive, reason being is people have survived from 35,000 feet in the air or higher by rolling in a specific way where they don't come to a complete stop. But there also has to be some sort of hill it just can't be flat ground, so it depends on the area that Toothless drops you.
