Man the scoring in this game really is something else. I’m not used to how it works. This video is very helpful and after multiple (many many LOL) runs I got the hang of it. I guess for me at least, the difficulty spike towards the very end goes from old school shooter to cave shooter. I’m also not very good. Again, great video!

Glad it was able to help! Yeah, G-Darius is kinda in that weird zone between old school and bullet hell, but once you get into the groove it kinda clicks and gets easier.

Interesting guide, learned a few stuff ! Btw if you wait around at 18:42 instead of speedkilling the turrets you'll get an additionnal wave with a red power-up. Also I'm not too sure the Zoyds firing 90°lasers are really that effective as a capture , as you don't seem to be hitting the final boss much with them, and it's not even powerfull enough to destroy the missiles fired by the boss.

Thanks! I didn't know that about fire fossil, that could be pretty useful. As for the pre-boss capture, I pick it just because it has a small profile so it reduces its chances of getting hit and destroyed. The way I have it routed damage is pretty consistent. I even use the same capture in v2.

Would you say that the 20MM score is the hardest achievement in the list? Can I use the rewind feature if I get hit as much as I want?

It is the hardest but you can use rewind and save states!

So if I enable continues, I’m assuming that the score starts from 0 when I continue? I read that you’re awarded 1MM points for every life you have left at the end, so I’m assuming I’d want to set lives to 6 and rewind every time I lose a life?

You should get the trophy even if you bump the difficulty down and use multiple credits, but your score will be uploaded to the All-Mix leaderboard rather than the more competitive Arcade one, since the default arcade settings have changed.

Got all but two of the trophies, this one and the one about encountering some secret enemy. Any idea where this guy is?

Yes! This enemy only appears by taking a long, long time to fight a boss. I recommend going to the stage one boss and doing your best to NOT kill him as long as you can. Iirc it's about 4 minutes. You'll know you've done it right when spinning ground of square enemies appear.

At 21:31 I can complete the sequence, the final enemy laser blast kill me, is because I'm not powered up the fire power like you?

I think your autofire setting is either too high or too low, leading to your beam depleting too fast. Try using the default auto or maybe 20hz?

Have you been able to 1CC any other routes? I tried Epsilon - Theta - Mu and got my ass handed to me.

I enjoyed playing this game on the browser, if it ever comes out on PC, I might end up getting this instead of Cozmic Collection. I just hope that it got beginner mode like in the ps1 version.

I don't think it has a beginner mode, but it has unlimited Continues and a great save state system. I believe it's coming to steam?

@@GojiGuy saves state doesnt cut for me and I am not comfortable with unlimited continues. I just like the beginner mode for that more forgiving power up stuff so......

@@hellonearth6411 you need to set a button for auto fire and regular shot. On my setup "Y" is autofire, "B" is regular shot, and "X" is capture ball. You have to switch between them for alpha beam. Check your controls and gadgets in the menu. And once the beam is out, hold the autofire button!
