Both Mario and Joe are very wise guys :) One of the reasons I really enjoy their interviews. There's something special about a musician who goes deeper than just the music.
@alemutasa61898 жыл бұрын
Agree. I, also really like how that they don't have a proper "explanation" of the sound thay have: if you watch an interview Joe did a few years ago, they ask him how he creates the sad/paranoid/angry riffs and chords, and he gives the best possible answer: "I don't know, they sounded good to me". Great musicians, great artists. As Frank Zappa said, "talk about music is like to dance about architecture"

I really appreciate the way Mario describes certain guitar parts as leaving space for emotion to come through in the vocals. He's able to convey strong emotion this way. It's very true for their later material. Love the interviews with these guys. Very genuine.

Awesome interview! Mario is definitely one of the coolest and most talented drummers out there... OH, and by the way, I realized that the subtitles at 13:22 say, "...Akreed toured in UK," but the band Mario was ACTUALLY talking about is Hacride, I believe... who are IMMENSELY talented and incredible. I'd check 'em out, if I were you.

Love people who said "could be nice to be french" holy shit ! I'm French, and it's really hard to learn at school when you are a kid. Learn English was clearly easier ! Verb conjugation(?) so hard in French. In English, for exemple, just add "will" and you got future... Now do it in French, HAVE FUN :D (maybe, I just told you that with some incredible faults(?) ^^)
