I'm glad that they're opening the door a bit stylistically and they're breaking out of the 'everything has to be violently heavy' trap that a lot of bands fall into. I am at peace knowing Gojira is just doing what they like to do. This doesn't remotely sound like commercial music, it's more accessible but not more commercial. Everyone seems to forget Gojira had softer songs on every single one of their albums, and as they evolve, they'll keep working towards newer sounds. No one can deny songs like Into the Storm or Amazonia weren't some great songs

For example, the raw rage from "The Way all the flesh", the lyrics from "From Mars to Sirius",... And Fortitude won't be an exception. I think it'll be a great album, and different while staying Gojira.
