しかし60周年の頃はギャレゴジも公開前でシン・ゴジラも「作られるかも？」ぐらいしか情報出てなくて「果たしてゴジラシリーズが再び盛り上がる時代は来るのだろうか…」と思ってたけど、今やハリウッドではモンスターバースが定着し国内でもゴジフェス、シンギュラポイント、そしてマイナスワンと定期的に新作が供給されるようになって本当によかった

初めてゴジラを観たのが父に「ハム太郎観に行こう」って言われた時だった ハムちゃんズの活躍に湧き、EDの興奮冷めやらぬ自分を恐怖で叩き起こしたゴジラ 当時5歳だった自分は蹂躙される人々、踏み潰されるバラゴン、そして圧倒的なゴジラの勇姿に虜になった おめでとう！ゴジラ！！

This is honestly one of the best moments of being a Godzilla fan. I missed the celebration for 65th anniversary because I wasn’t really a big Godzilla fan at the time, but now I am, and I want to make 11/3 a really special day for me and others, and this video is one of the only videos on KZbin to honestly make me tear up because it shows how far Godzilla, gfans, and myself have gone sense 1954. @@crazyunclecrispy6140I think they're calling it his 70th now because they won't be able to put out a full-length Japanese movie next year. It's part of their contract with WB/Legendary - they can both keep making Godzilla movies, but they can't release new movies in the same year. So to work around this issue, they're celebrating his 70th for two years - first on a year when Toho has its own cinematic release, and second on the actual 70th year, when WB releases Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire as their contribution to the milestone.

My dad and I have always loved Godzilla since we were both young, he introduced me to it when I was young and I had a lot of those Trendmasters toys, seen every film, have every film and played most of the games. He's in the hospital now, I really hope he'll be ok, i want to watch Minus One with him, it really feels like it'll be full circle for us to see it.
