i f you don't know, gojo is literally called the anomaly of the jjk world. He is (by chance) born with two of the most broken things at once(was supposed to be acquired by two different people) - the limitless cursed technique and the six eye(his eye, the blue swxy eye) I think people here explained limitless pretty well but no one told about the eye(and why he even needs to open his eye). As you can understand the limitless cursed techniques are pretty broken but powerful techniques requires a lot of cursed energy. The main use of the six eye is that it reduces the "cost" (cursed energy) to perform any technique. So by using the six eye gojo can do crazy techniques all day (he actually does use infinity 24×7) and watch arround normally. But he has to close the eyes, coz it also feeds toooooo much information to his brain (like his domain) which a normal brain won't be able to handle and he will die. Also it's not like he can't use his eye at all when they are closed, it's just less effective

Somebody on Reddit explained this. "Alright, so a lot of people tend to get confused with Gojo's explanation here of how his power works, so I'm going to try and clarify a little of what he was explaining this ep purely from my understanding to hopefully clear things up. At the outset, a lot of people think Gojo's ability is basically fancy telekinesis. It's not. Gojo is doing the exact opposite of that. He's not manipulating a physical object in space, he's manipulating the space around a physical object. For example, if someone shot a bullet at Gojo and he used his ability to stop it, he's doing absolutely nothing to the bullet itself. The bullet is still maintaining its same speed, mass, direction, and everything else. What he's doing is manipulating and creating space around the bullet infinitely so that the bullet never actually reaches him, which gives the outside appearance of the bullet "slowing down". He can both "add" and "subtract" space at will, which explains his other techniques shown here. His ability to teleport for instance would be him taking away an infinite amount of space between him and his destination, the exact opposite of how his shielding ability works, which is creating an infinite amount of space between an attack and himself." Essentially, Gojo is, Math: the character.

Although it may seem like a simple ability, it actually ties with his other abilities which does more than what you think but i'm not gonna bother spoiling.

Gojo’s power is hype asf. The closer you get to him, the slower you go. It’s like if you keep halving the number 1. No matter how many times you halve it, the number you get will keep getting smaller and smaller, but it will never ever reach a value of 0 because there are infinite values between 0-1. Similarly, when you approach Gojo, the distance/space between you and him is definitely and infinitely becoming shorter and shorter, but you’ll never actually get to a point where you can actually touch him because mathematically, the distance between you and him will never be able to numerically reach 0.

okay this actually makes me think that you guys should take a look at One Punch Man, i feel like especially Cannon might like it. overpowered character doing funny stuff and a lot of action? it has its serious moments too but it's mostly very funny, and the animation of the first season is very good so idk, i feel like the elements you guys liked from jjk, one punch man also has them but it's actually a comedy. idk just a thought i might be wrong too.

At first it didn't make sense to me about the part where jogo can't touch gojo-the infinity but I later found out that we cant actually touch any surface because of atoms or some shit like that so I think infinity was inspired from that

1) Yes, Sukuna experiences everything that Yuji does, and so he is watching this. A factbook actually indicates that he spends most of his time moving around his innate domain and watching what's going on in the outside world, but that he will immediately run up to his throne of bones is somebody enters his mind to appear more intimidating. 2) Gojo's technique is space-time manipulation. His infinity basically acts as a gravity well, distorting space around him to basically make imaginary space between him an an opponent (this is why he can float, as he's technically falling, but infinitely slowly); the red technique creates an imaginary mass that is fired at the opponent, and he has other techniques that will be expressed later. 3) Sukuna and Gojo both have instant-kill domains, and a contest between their domains would be...interesting. I can't really give any info on this without spoilers and/or speculation, but it's going to be one of the interesting questions for the future of the anime.
