Interesting take. I think the opposite, older anime dubs are spot on. (Bleach, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, One Piece, even MHA & AoT ) they are all really GREAT dubs. I can argue specific characters are better in dub then sub (hate me if you want lol) I always hated the sub people. So annoying, but when it came to Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen. OMG the dub is so bad, i just couldn’t watch it that way. Those are the ONLY 2 animes I would watch sub over dub. So yeah, for the most part. Dub > Sub for me.

Later in the manga, they said that Gojo kills without hesitation, and he would even be ok if innocent people got dragged into his fight, and chalked it up to collateral damage, to a point. But there is a limit to how much collateral damage he's willing to accept.

Both. From what I can tell Gojo pulled up & was just gonna end Juzo. From what I can tell he was in the middle of using 'Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue'. Gojo started at the extremities* (arms & legs), and appeared to be working his way to middle of the body (right about where the solar plexus is & and ALL the vital organs a person needs). At this point, none of the Jujutsu students or staff had any info about the ambush & the other guy has already escaped ( maidenless blonde swordsman), and Yuji & Todo were dealing with Hanami. For whatever reason when Gojo first appeared above the veil, he assessed all that was going on, and decided to go take care of Juzo first, despite there being a Special grade cursed spirit present (although Hanami was unregistered**). But I guess he figured the BESTO FRIENDOS had it covered. Gakuganji being one of the higher-ups is no stranger to Gojo or how easily he can shift from his normal self to his sadistic killer self, and probably figured Gojo wouldn't leave Juzo alive. But Gakuganji reminded Gojo the importance of interrogating Juzo when he told Gojo not to kill Juzo.*** I'm guessing this annoyed Gojo, and he used 'Hollow Purple' to blow off some steam. But that's just how I interpreted it. * This eliminates and chance of escape or retaliation. **I'm not sure if Hanami's rank was common knowledge among the school staff & principals, or if Gojo knew bc of the 6 Eyes. ***Everyone knows you interrogate, then dispose. C'mon Gojo, get your shit together!! 🤣
