Small correction at 4:40, that color CAN choose already rested characters. It's similar to active triggers, where the only condition for the effect to work is the "Choose one character" portion. Everything after that is the effect, and you just do as much as you can. In the case of the color trigger, that'd mean you cannot rest them (as they're already rested), but can make them not set to active, meaning Mahito would've been a valid target.

Like seeing the Meg deck work. I think the two decks are pretty similar and do want to theory craft because Tier List say the Meg deck is bad but I think the tools are there.

Small note, at 13:12 cards from Megumi's ability go to the bottom of the deck, not into the sideline :p

You really just got smacked by the Mahito deck’s inherent weakness. The lack of AP outside of Geto who acts like a PK Break Sword. You probably could afford to run some outside cards aside Mechamaru to cycle your deck. Like Miwa or Dagon to get your removal options quicker. Ironically the Mahito deck seems to live and die by Jogo.
