Gokaiger was the 35th Super sentai series and also the anniversary series hence why they can borrow powers from the previous 34 sentai teams. Definitely check out the full team transformations, you'd enjoy that. Glad you enjoyed it, its my favorite sentai season

1:50 Super Sentai is the source material for PR, as the suits and action scenes are licensed out for PR productions. With the Gokaigers being the 35th entry to Super Sentai which celebrated Sentai’s 35th anniversary, with their whole gimmick being space pirates who “pirate” the powers of other Sentai teams, in this case all the previous ones before them. This clip coming from a special episode with the concept of Gokaired and Gokaisilver being accidentally fused. And yes, this entry was adapted into PR as Super MegaForce, which was a dumpster fire and disservice to both the source material (Sentai) and celebrating the legacy of PR. 2:07 And mind you, they aren’t limited to same colors either. I would recommend giving the Sentai counterparts a watch or even the further entry that have yet to be or haven’t been adapted. For recommendations, I’d say give the recently finished up 47th entry, Kingohger a go or follow along the upcoming 48th entry as it airs.

I have only watch Super Sentai through clips on KZbin, but yeah Super Sentai has been up for a long time. I watched PR from Might Morphin up to Dino Thunder, after that I fell off from the franchise. But that sucks that Super Megaforce didn’t do the franchise justice. But I might catch some of the Sentai series, and actually watch full episodes instead of just random clips lol
