Hi, I would recommend you www.kitesandfunthings.com/Products/Premier-Wolf-NG__66311.aspx or the Window... www.kitesandfunthings.com/Departments/Sport-kites.aspx I haven't tried them but I think they are good kites! Spend more time to learn well the basics (to fly nice), than freestyle... :) You can check the other videos on my channel (How to Move). Good luck! GoKiting!

I'm taking my fathers old kite (must be like 30 years old) out next week with my son. never seen this type of flying before this month...I was watching videos on how to repair bridle strings and saw a tutorial video on stunts.... (seems my dad wasn't that good with the kite)..I've now watched 8 hours of stunt videos and have to say that for some magical reason your video with no words or closeups describes it better than any other. seeing body movement and hand speed work together and being able to see the kite in real time react to the pulls does the trick ps. my fathers kite is a "Top of the Line" Hawaiian Team Kite. released in 1985 (in very good condition). rare as heck so I'm kind of on the fence about trying tricks on this dinosaur she's very valuable to me and apparently the rest of the world (very rare now days) so i may have to buy a prisim kite to learn these things.

I mean this thing is amazing. I was born in 1990 and I know he had it before I was born so it easily is 30-36 years old (he is not around to verify exact age for me because...life) but this thing blows everyone's mind when I go to the popular kite field in Puerto Rico.

So great man! Can anyone recommend a beginner kite that I can advance into with time?
@gokitinggr4 жыл бұрын
On the market they are many Ready to fly kites with carbon frames up to ~150 euros. They can do tricks but this not necessary means it's everything easy to learn on them. If you get more balanced kite probably you will progress faster. Some "beginner kites" are just too difficult to trick and without someone to teach you it can take you years to understand some basics stuffs. Of course, if you are complete beginner get something around 50-100 euros (like Yakon II), learn straight lines, turns, stalls, landings and than... It depends on many factors: Where you gonna fly (beach or inland)? what style, avg wind speed, how much big kite, how much long lines,..,... I have some used kites and prototypes which fly well, if you are interested...

One of my favorite Stunt Kiting videos. I am envious of this master! What are the upgrades and modifications to the kite? Do you recomend buying the new Masetro III ?
@gokitinggr7 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don't have notes about the measurements and already sold the kite. To be honest, I don't recommend you to get M3, the default settings are awful. If you can find M2 and modify it (search for Pimp by PAW) it will be better. The mod is relatively simple to make.

What’s the ideal wind conditions to practice these moves???

wow, this looks really soo professional. amazing. i just started to kite 2 weeks ago with the X-dream delta kite. and tried around to fly stalls and also the half axel.. but it was really kind of impossible. what wind speed did you have approx at this session? it looks like not too much, was it? -greeez and keep on flying ;)

PS: HOW did you "upgrade/modify your kite??? :D (if i'm supposed to ask )
@gokitinggr3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the sport! Yes the wind is 2-15km/h (mostly 4-5km/h). The X-dream is more of a Speed/Power stunt kite. Some tricks may be possible but it's not designed for Freestyle. Learn to control the speed in straight lines, make long horizontal and vertical lines. Watch my videos with Fazer XL and Little Arrow, they could help you to understand how these kites work. Good Luck! GoKiting!
