There’s a handful of badass moments for sure but GT lacked what made Z so special to me. The supporting cast and all of the dramatic and special moments that go with it. It was literally just the goku show.

I always loved the character of Nova. He's one of the few villains with a sense of honor. I also love that him and Goku hit it off so fast and form a bond. Considering that Nova was made from the Four Star Ball, the same ball his Grandpa gave him and he would later give to Gohan. Just little touches like that shows the people who made GT did know their Dragon Ball facts. Even if they weren't very good at writing it themselves.

GT Goku is more mature and more stronger than Super Goku. You could literary see Vegeta literally holded a piece of a whole chunk of an building with his one hand sideways while in knees down. In Super they nerfed the characters so hard. And GT SSJ4 Goku is an menace with his way of talking compared to Super Goku who is still with his common way of speaking even in any form. The SSJ3, had a little rougher voice in Super that i appreciated it when he went against Beerus, Future Trunks, and Caulifla & Kale.

This is one of the many reasons why i loved GT more than Super, they didn't make Goku dumber than he was, and villains like Baby and Nuova Shenron were really interesting to see. Sure GT had flaws, but it was made by peoples that truly loved the Dragon Ball universe, and it's ending is still a tear jerker to me to this day.
