One thing about Dragonball I can appreciate is the way the show slowly gets more serious in tone. Its like we are seeing everything through Goku's mind and as he grows, the sillyness slowly fades into a dangerous reality. It really starts to show later but the Red Ribbon Army is where the seriousness of life is first shown to Goku 😊

Yes, Marasaki does have 5 brothers which is very weird to think about even Geekdom101 said it was werid too but i feel like at this point Toriyama was sorta making fun of ninjas as a gag or joke but not taken seriously it's also cool that Goku learn the after image so fast and I'm excited for you guys to experience this Android

Marasaki and his 4 brothers. He was fun at first but then it got a little old. Thankfully he only lasted for two episodes then we move on to Android 8. Naruto and One Piece are both very inpsired by Dragon Ball and Toriyama. After Toriyama passed both the creator of Naruto and One Piece wrote a nice good bye letter thanking him for all the inspiration and friendship.

A lot of aspects of Naruto were inspired by dragon Ball. Just look at Naruto and Sasuke, it's pretty obvious they were inspired by Goku and Vegeta, from their personalities to the clothes they wear. Sasuke was also inspired by Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. Shadow clone jutsu was probably inspired by Tien's multiform technique.

The reason this fight lasted so long is they wanted to showcase all of the usual fighting techniques and tropes of the ninja, and that they are no match for Goku. It's why Murasaki is basically the series' only ninja.

the "fight" with Murasaki is my least favourite in Dragon Ball. The balance of comedy and action doesn't feel right. its 95% goofiness and 5% fighting. It was kind of an annoying fight
