So already stronger than a single universe given solaris is beyond a single universe and threatened all universes and dimensions. The End is the most powerful being to date that sonic has fought. With information from the creators and the game itself claiming that this being is beyond omnipotent. In the game, The End claims that its power is so great that it overshadows all other beings that sonic has faced, which would include solaris. This is proven in articles that the creators gave comments on with them saying that solaris threatened all reality and time but the end is far beyond anything that sonic has faced, and sonic beat The End as super sonic. He didn't have to go hyper or ultra, and their are beings that are weaker than solaris and the end who still scale to multiversal that sonic beat in base form… You said that sonic has lost in super form multiple times, true, although it is said that sonic continually grows stronger every moment. This is proven given that in the earlier games sonic can be knocked out of his super form by a single punch from knuckles, but in the later and most recent games, a blast of energy capable of destroying galaxies couldn't stop him. Super sonic has a achieved greater feats than goku and many of the Sonic villains would bat goku away like a fly. As opposed to sonic which when correctly scaled can take out all goku villains… Also, characters saying their omnipotent versus omnipotent feats is a big difference. Sonic is a being capable of erasing time and reality from any number of universes at will given the right form. In DBZ Zeno is considered the most powerful being in the entire series, yet their is a version of Zeno across all dimensions revealing that his power is still limited to a single universe. Sonics power would also be contained except for the fact that he has proven that it isn't by defeating beings outside of his universe and beings beyond a multiverse with his power. Archie sonic can rewrite entire realities if he chooses, can destroy the very fabric of creation down to nothing and bring it back instantly.
