It was weird to see Goku and Gohan in their super Saiyan form acting natural. But the key thing is for them to be able to hold that transformation naturally. Cuz at the end of the day rage and anger is the fuel for the super Saiyan form. So if they are able to maintain it without high anger and rage. It just means it will be more powerful when they actually do get mad.

NOW things are starting to heat up! I absolutely LOVE seeing Gohan with the Piccolo drip! It's so meaningful how he specifically ASKED for him to give him the same outfit he wears. Just a small gesture of how important Piccolo is to him. Also: I love Bulma's look with longer hair. It's kind of a more studious look that fits her level of intellect. Kind of like a modern-day Software Designer. Something else about this moment that doesn't get discussed enough: Bulma actually working on repairing Android 16 is such a pivotal moment -- think about it: Bulma, just like Goku and the others, have been dealing with the Red Ribbon Army since Dragon Ball. And now, years later, she's getting hands-on with the machines that Dr. Gero began creating so many years prior. It's kind of a full circle vibe. I love that Toriyama actually didn't make this an off-panel thing, but rather, gave Bulma some time to shine here. Love the reactions as always! Madison is 110% invested!

When you first hear Goku say Gohan and him will pass on the intense training it was a shock. Sure, they'd still train outside but it's nowhere near as intense in the time chamber. Oh man Gohan getting an outfit like Piccolos cause he was his first teacher was so adorable. He wears that same outfit throughout the Cell Games and its just really cool. Also Madison saying how awesome the Goku and Cell face off there is an understatement. Seeing just the energy that both Goku and Cell are admitting and the dialogue like “I spent months preparing for the day I would face you in your final form” is just so legendary. Everything has building up to the Goku vs Cell fight and they kinda gave us a little preview right there lol. Logic says it would have been better if they had trained second time in the hyperbolic time chamber. Logic says Goku would have progressed to greater heights if he did not have to spend time training Gohan. So why would he make this decision? I think all this becomes clear soon.... Although not perfect and someone who has made mistakes you can never question how pure and powerful his character is. Not just powerful in his fighting, but his mind and spirit as well. to be more specific about android 16, he is a purely mechanical robot who was modeled after Dr. Geros dead son who was apparently killed when goku wiped out the Red Ribbon Army. He is not like android 17 or 18 who were turned from humans into androids.

To be even more specific, in the anime, Gero was never said to have a son. In the manga, Gero was never said to have a son. In a interview about the manga, Toriyama claimed Gero modeled 16 after his son. But Toriyama never actually put it in the manga so it's not canon.

Android 16 isn't Dr. Gero's son, he was modeled after his son which is why he isn't like 17 and 18. It's also why he seemed extremely protective of him when 17 wanted to activate him.

Lol I don't think Madison connecting the dots to what Goku said at the end of the episodes I can't wait for her to see what "outside training" looks like 🤣 this going to be hilarious. While Dr briefs and Bulma was scanning 16 files, I have to say it was a missed opportunity that they didn't mention or showed anything related to gevo and who is 16 model after. I know Akira toriyama purposely didn't want to do that but man it would've been genius if he did. I respect the man cause honor means something to him, a man's word gotta respect it. If he doesn't feel comfortable doing something than he doesn't do it even if it would pleases everyone else.

I love that they made it dark blue like that in gohans outfit.. way better than the red in the manga
