Naruto did the same, you see people in both OP and Naruto shooting blasts and using power ups, at least in Dragon ball they are an alien warrior race, not some simple human pirates who ate fruits lmao.

I have no nostalgia for Brain Drummond's Vegeta as I've never watched the Ocean Dub but what I have heard of him is amazing. That being said this Vegeta reminds me of Brian Drummond's and I'm all for it! Also Goku sounds like a perfect marriage between MasakoX (Abridged) and Sean Schemmel (Funimation) and I LOVE THAT. Needless to say the animation, sound design, and music is AMAZING. I LOVE Budokai 3's opening!!! Amazing work!
