This Quirk, unlike most, can be passed down between people... by ingestion of DNA, so Deku gains One For All by eating one of All Might's hairs... which is honestly the least concerning way to "ingest someone's DNA" that they could have gone with.

deku- green hair, has all-might's quirk. bakugo- blonde hair and his quirk lets his sweat explode. all-might- quirk is "all-for-one" which allows him to increase speed, strength, and resistance (at the cost of massive amounts of body strength) uraraka- brown hair, quirk lets her disable gravity of anything she touches, however gets sick if she uses it too much. there's a couple of the more popular characters from the show, and how they work.

You should check out season 1 of My Hero Academia. If you like DBZ, you'll probably get a kick out of it. The thing to understand about All-Might is that he's pretty much the opposite from Goku from a narrative perspective--Goku is some nobody who is constantly getting stronger and is basically invincible, whereas All-Might is a famous icon of hope who's severely injured and usually a few breaths away from deflating into the "crackhead mode" you see at the end of the video. The reason he has Midoria (AKA Deku) as a pupil is because he's one of few people in the world who was born without power, and can therefore appreciate the power. (But yeah "Eat my DNA for super powers" is a bit weird for a hero to say.)
