Anytime someone compares the two, I can tell who actually read the arc, and who just watched it with their eyes closed. Goku gave senzu bean because Merus spent the entire arc teaching Goku about justice, and commending Goku for being one to reform his enemies rather than kill them (Merus VERBATIM said this). By Giving Moro a second chance, Goku was simply respecting Merus's wishes and doing what Merus had taught him. Not comparable in the slightest to Goku giving Cell a senzu bean, especially becauase even WITH the senzu bean, Moro continued to get folded by goku. Meanwhile the senzu bean in the cell arc caused cell to beat the brakes off of Gohan, its two different situations.

there's 2 reason i can think of why Goku got them susanoo: - Meta reason, prolly Tori-sensei tribute to Naruto. Beside, in Naruto Susanoo is known to be the Ultimate Defense and Offense technique, that's fit the bill for MUI to steal since that's UI whole tagline too. - In-verse reason, that's the yadratian technique that Goku never come around to master and only able to use in MUI. The one they showed when Vegeta goes to yadrat in the beginning or the arc.
