He briefly went SS2 in the episode, for like 1.3 seconds to get a temporary super power boost to overwhelm the Tamagami during the Kamehameha blast It worked, because the Tamagami wasn't expecting it and got overwhelmed in that split second...which Goku then used to his advantage and swiftly gut-punched him to submission in that moment

Before he charged the kamehameha, he went SS2 and used a SS2 full power super kamehameha to beat tamagami 3, but tamagami 3 was strong enough to deflect it.

@@kitarokun6564 Did you watch the episode? From what I've seen in clips, he only went SS2 DURING the kamehameha blast to overwhelm Tamagami I haven't seen him go SS2 pre-kamehameha
