Gokusen Shinkumi (Shin & Yankumi)

Hello there! I just made a video tribute to Shinkumi of Gokusen. Hope you like it! :)

We couldn't get the ShinKumi end game in anime and Live Action but in the manga, they are. Shin decided to become a Yakuza Lawyer to protect and guide the Kuroda Family (In the live action its Ooedo). Yankumi didn't really say her feelings towards shin word per word but all throughout the manga, it is visible that whenever something is happening, she's unconsciously relying to Shin and that Shin is always beside her during difficult times. When she realized that, you can clearly see it on her expression, "Ah, It's him, I've loved him all along." Also Shin is not the type to give-up. SO TO ALL ShinKumi shipper! SHINKUMI IS CANON!

I'M HAPPY, I WATCHED THIS ANIME AND DRAMA A LONG TIME AGO...I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT AND LATELY I STARTED TO SEE SHORT CLIPS OF BOTH ON ACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM! I WATCHED IT A FEW DAYS AGO AND IT'S LIKE I'VE BEEN ENLIGHTENED, REMINDING ME OF MOMENTS FROM MY CHILDHOOD AND FEELING ABSOLUTELY NOSTALGIC. I still couldn't accept that Shin didn't appear in the Gokusen movie. All of the Shirokin boys were there (Uchiyama, Noda, Minami, Kuma), it really felt incomplete without Shin. Shin and Yankumi was seriously the best duo, not to mention the MAIN duo. He was the one that really got along with her family, Tetsu and the others even call him by his first name and he could even scold them. Shin really knew her so well. I was still waiting for him to come out at the end of the movie or something but I was really disappointed he didn't. Nontheless, ever since watching Gokusen, it never left my heart and it's still the best. 💖💖💖💖

The scene in episode 3:24 is heartbreaking and beautiful. Sawada and his classmates said goodbye to Yankumi very nicely. I wanted to be in Yankumi's place. I think thanks to Yankumi's respect, patience, and intelligence, her students have become the same as Yankumi herself. I learned a lot from watching this drama... my heart still breaks for these two 💔 i rlly wish they had more moments together in gokusen, i felt like Shin would be her best match cause he’s the silent type, and would either tolerate or tone down her hyperactiveness if needed. all the seasons showed that he may have known her the best(compared to shinohara, and tetsu is out of the question since she grew up with him and is used to seeing him as her brother) even if they only knew each other for a short time cause he is very observant and he can easily read her.

The first time I watched Gokusen the movie, I was hoping that Jun Matsumoto would atleast show up, especially during that last part when someone poked Yankumi's cheek ( it was Sawada's signature move to Yankumi and vice versa), it wasnt Jun but Shun Oguri who did that iconic scene...Its been sooooo many years but we still had no idea why Jun Matsumoto refused to reprise his role on Gokusen ...

Gokusen live action season 1 is always the best season of all....they gave had casted shin perfectly... MatsuJun was so amazing... I can't see anyone who'd equal his Shin.... That i even imagine some of the manga scenes as in reality while these 2 plays Yankumi and Shin... Imaging it to be Soooo great 👍

You can read it on Manga Rock, but to be honest, somehow the manga doesn't give off the same vibe as the drama and for me, as long as Shin isn't Matsumoto Jun and Yankumi isn't Nakama Yukie, my Shinkumi needs wil never be satisfied 😭😭😭

Original story have that ending, but MatsuJun and Yukie rumors make the series went into a different direction. Originally there should be a movie before season 2 and it pretty much a little bit faithful to the original work but the rumor make things pretty f'ck up.
