I remember there was a talk about why the Docker founder said we wouldn't need Docker if WebAssembly came out sooner. The gist was that browsers can act as containers, and browsers have been brutally tested for more than a decade by when Docker came out.

That definitely rings a bell, I wonder how things would be without Docker, in a world of WebAssembly only.

Hello There are two I like to recommend "Software Architecture Patterns" and "Fundamentals of Software Architecture", if you're more interested in Microservices then the ones I like recommending are "Building Microservices", "Microservices Patterns" and "Building Evolutionary Architectures". Also if you search for "O'Reilly Software Architecture Conference" there is a lot of content to watch. Best.
