4 lbs of chips, all that work and supplies, for $30 of gold? $2 of silver??

Very interesting info. To what temperature do you head the nitric acid solution in the fume hood?
@omegageek642 жыл бұрын
Just to boiling or a little below. Nitric acid boils a little below the temp that water boils at. Heat accelerates the reaction, but too much heat can, in my experience, boil off the nitric acid before it has a chance to work.

I haven't watched the first video. Can you please give a detailed synopsis of what I may have missed by going straight to the second part? Thank you

Where do you get all your chips from? Seems like most people are selling them now for more then they are worth.

you can get 60% of the gold with the gravity metod only , and smelt it with led ,then cupell in portland cement.

Why don't you rinse the trash in the beaker before you put it in the filter? Also, why not do another RA treatment and add it to the first and do both at the same time? I do love your videos. I've bin doing this for a number of years. Things keep changing from time to time and we have to keep up.

Excellent 2 part video! It'd be great to see this with other ewaste, like gold pins! I know you like the Eco stuff to do pins, but for me and maybe others like me we are probably going to stick with the old reliable Nitric & Hydrochloric/Muratic Acid to get the gold. Hoping to see a video like that. I know we can look at older videos, but you have learned alot since those older videos and could really make a Great updated video! Have a Great Day My Friend!!

If I've removed all the magnetic material prior to using acid. Could I use HCl and bleach? I'm really low on nitric at the moment.

Great info, thanks so much. So I have a question. After I dissolved base metals w/sulfuric and potassium nitrate I noticed crystals formed overnight. Blue and clear. I know the blue ones are from copper, but what are the clear crystals from? I saved some of each then redissolved them with hot water.

Do you ever do IC chips in large batches? I have a couple 5 gallon pails from depopulation old boards from the 80s and 90s but don't really like the idea of doing 20 or more processes.

How do you get rid of iron in the dirt?

Why add sulfuric acid, if the Sulfumic acid converts the nitric to sulfuric, wouldn’t that drop the lead?
@omegageek643 жыл бұрын
True. I was hoping not to need to deNOx, but got too much nitric acid in it. If I'd got it right the sulfuric acid would have been necessary. As it turned out, it was redundant.

Please... Go READ ! And most of all. Watch OTHER people's Videos about recovery. That way you can 👁 👁. And 👂 👂 the MISTAKES ! ALL OF THEM MAKE.

Could you talk about average recovery rates with regards to ip's, bga's ect. On one of your next videos. I'd like to get a good Idea of what I need to achieve in chip weight or lmcc to obtain an ounce of main 4 metals . Platinum palladium gold and silver.

20:39 I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that you need to filter without using a pump. Like 77 from me:) Interesting video, I also want to try.
