​@@hanswurst3731 doch und zwar auch im kilo und nicht tonnenbereich..hab letztes jahr 115kg kupfer,25kg messing,20kg alubronze,22kg blei und 13kg zink in selbst gegossenen barren zum schrott gebracht..kurz mit pistole analysiert...alle kupferbarren im hohen 99 komma bereich..und hab trotz kleiner menge zb fürs kupfer 6,50 bekommen...der schrotter kriegt dafür in tonnenmenge im verkauf auch nur mit mühe 8euro.... Zinn,alu und eisen sind auch nie nen problem....auch in kleinstmengen beim schrottplatz nicht...und einzeln und sortenrein sogar für vertretbares geld(man ist halt doch verkäufer und der händler muss auch ne marge haben...) ist zb bei mir nebenprodukt gewesen beim elektroschrott demontieren um platinen zu "ernten" um ein mini anteil gold,silber,platin und palladium zu generieren um daraus am ende ein einzigen ring herstellen zu können(ihre bedingung zum "jawort" war "mach mir nen ring und gib dafür ja kein geld aus".... Da war die oben genannte menge an nebenprodukten die sortenrein in zb kabeln,spulen,pumpen,fittings,kupplungen etc anfielen schon ganz nett..und ich hoffe das sie die chemikalien die ich für meine elektrolysezelle brauche um gold,silber,palladium und platin aus den platinen zu isolieren und dann möglichst auch noch aus dem anodenschlamm sortenrein zu extrahieren reicht und ich somit rechnerisch beim "ich hab keinen cent ausgegeben" bleibe....okay arbeitsstunden und mühe beim eigenbau von diversen maschinen wie hammermühle,shakertable und kupferelektrolysezelle aus gratis zu habenen komponenten darfst nicht rechnen(meine edelstahl kathoden zb waren davor mal nen mülleimer der öbb am örtlichen hauptbahnhof und mein shakertable antrieb war mal ne im keller stehende dekupiersäge,die "hammermühle"ist aus ner alten schneekette als schlagwerkzeug,nem motor aus ner pumpe eines alten whirlpools und nem alten niro suppentopf als gehäuse gestrickt...aber wenn man muss findet man hqlt lösungen😂)

I would think for the anti-corrosion properties, as gold is a non-reactive metal, plus the third best conductor of electricity (Silver, copper, gold, aluminum, in that order). All the other metals I list will oxidize, save gold. Like the gear we put up in space, they use all gold instead of using copper or silver as a conductive/contact metal, even though it is less conductive then Cu, Ag, but there is no chance of it corrosion. If it oxidizes then the contact area will be significantly impaired (in regards to how effective it will be able to transmit data and electricity)as no one is there to fix it. It's okay for your car battery terminal, and your power plug for your cell phone, and such. Heck It would even be okay for the ISS to use regular silver coated copper contacts for their solar cells b/c if they oxidize all they got to due, is put some mag shoes on and step out side, w/ an SOS pad and polish back up. (they might have to hold their breath but that not a prob, anyone can do that.) But, the gov't they like to make things really expensive when making space stuff. But now that Elon Musk is in the game, he's making space stuff that the average joe can buy and use. He's not stuck in multi-decade old metality that space stuff is a gov't only area, but is focused on what you and I would want out of the satellites we buy. Actually I just recently went to Space X 's website, and bought the New super cubesat 5000 (my brother and I are splitting the cost). Space X had a buy one get one free deal, and it included the rocket launch cost.(insurance was extra as well as photon torpedos, but the phasers were included ). But now I have a free satellites and I don't know what to do w/ it......are you by chance looking for one, I'll give you a good price??? lol Actually the buying process I just talked about is pretty close to how he runs Space X. From what I've read you and I could easily do what I said, and he does have special deals/sales for repeat customers.....got love it.(Wow I really went off on a tangent, sorry, my bad).
