Hi Phil, That is a fantastic way to add legs! I will have to try that tomorrow when I tie some pheasant tail nymphs!

Yet another great nymph to tie!! I've been watching many of your videos the past few days and tying the great patterns. I like the fact that you're from our province so therefore tie many of the flies that work in our waters! I also like your teaching methods! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Great fly Philip! But I have a tip regarding how you use Uni-Stretch to build up the taper into the back of the bead - I use UV resin for this. I place the fly vertically in the vise, and dab some UV resin (I use Solarez) into that tapered hole and cure it. I put in enough that it creates a slight convex surface, so that when the hook is back in usual position, you'll see a slight outward taper from the bead. The bead will never move and won't swallow your thorax or leg materials. Cheers, Rod B, Phillip Island, Australia.

Hi Rod, thanks for the resin tip. I haven't tried that yet. I like the Uni Strech because I can control the build-up and it offers traction for the materials tied over it. I will give your resin option a try though. Cheers, Phil

Phil...another sweet video. Of course I want to you to use many of our UV2 materials but I will not mention this. I do look forward to seeing you back here in Oregon next year and we can shot a few more videos.
