Always wondered about wrapping the fascias as opposed to repainting. Would their be any cost benefit and when the wrap is removed, would anything come off (old paint, etc) with it! I have seen silver and black brushed stainless steel wrap and it looks like it would look pretty good on our cars!

YES - old Paint, especially if not well prepped Surface before spraying will instantkly come off when you try to pull off the Vinyl. Also Wrapping DOES NOT cover and damages like paint flaking or cracs, It even accelerates them in visibility !!! Just get the Fascias painted new. Wrapping them in Stainless Steel lookalike will NEVER match the Original Structure... BUT - just try it ;-)

@@dmctimelord as i wrapped a old car once i have some experience. Wrapping covers NOTHING it actually even the opposite! Just try it. Take some old painted part, damage the Paint and wrap it.

My Brother used the "silver" 3m wrap on his M3 hood for his E46 BMW. That look of brushed metal turns into stress cracks. He still has it on his car. It lasted good looking after it's 3year life span. But it looks horrible now because it's craked all over and you can see the dark paint under the wrap. It's been on the car for over a decade. So that should be considered that it will not last . It looks good. I like it. But I would like it to be lasting.

This wrap has been on for 7 years and still shows pretty well. It has been garaged which extends the life for sure.
